Buhay Estudyante

by Ilai

How you love the sound of it, right?
Mabilisang almusal, ligo at pagsuot ng planstadong uniform. Nyay! Buhay Estudyante!

Here goes the testimonies we gathered from elementary, high school & college students.
Ma-dramang music please!

Joy

Hayys. 2016 na. Ang daming nangyari noong 2015 no? Maraming challenges at struggles. May naalala kasi akong verse. "I can do all thing through Christ who strengthens me.-Phil. 4:13". Ayun pala! C'mon and let's face 2016 with our MARVELOUS GOD!

Part of a student's life is building friendship with other people. The   very first friend I had in college was also a believer in Christ. We shared the same interests and found ourselves comfortable with one another. As a result, we started to become more familiar with the each other's characters and got even closer as friends. One day I observed something was odd with my friend. At first, I tried to ignore it. But each moment I looked at her, I could feel the heaviness in her heart. She would just say "Okay lang ako." This bothered me very much because she was obviously not okay. My role as a friend was supposedly to comfort and to encourage her even if she would not state the exact problem. However, I almost hated her for that instead, and even tried to get away from her. During those times, God would constantly remind me about being loving and patient with one another. One particular verse that really hit me was in Phil. 2:4. It says, "Don't look out only for your own interest, but take an interest in others, too." In His grace and mercy, He corrected me not only to care about myself, but also others. That time, she needed someone who could pray and encourage her. But I was too preoccupied about the displeasure I felt toward her actions that I became inconsiderate of my friend. I knew the Lord was not happy with my behavior so I asked God to forgive my selfishness that reached to a point of hating her. After then, I realized that God was teaching me to be compassionate and be sensitive of the people around so that He could use me anytime as an instrument to uplift anyone in need of hope. The desire of God for every believer is to become a light and a blessing to all people by expressing His love through us.

“Bakit ganun kababa Lord?” Mamaya nag speaking-in- tongues ako ng pabulong. Sabi nga sa Luke 1:37 "WITH GOD NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE".

First But Not the Last

by: Ilai

How wonderful it is to get to know the Lord Jesus, right?

You just keep falling in love with Him with every struggles you overcome because of Him, with every new experience You have with Him, with every revelation You received from Him!

And along with this, there is the desire to share the saving power of the Lord to our loved ones.

But what if instead of being glad of coming to know God, growing your faith in Him & your evident transformations because of being a born-again, it is your family who became your #1 persecutor? What if theyre not happy about it? What if they want you to stop attending the church & return to your old ways?
So how does it feel to be the first seed planted?
Every single soul who has finally found Christ has a unique testimony to share!
Lets hear some amazing work of God in these young peoples lives:

Eyd:

But he Amazing Grace of the LORD is very sufficient to me because He makes me tougher in my trials. He gives me great strength in my weakness. He gives me a power to endure this situation. Exodus 14:14 says, The LORD shall fight for you, and you need only to be still.

Kaya nga kahit broken family kami, I still trust His powerful and alive Word! I know HE will restore my family. I always put my trust on Him because He is the GOD OF BREAKTHROUGH! He is the Author of salvation of every family.

Work Hard for God

by: Anonymous

Are you a believer working a secular job?

Are you having hard-time balancing your faith and your career?

Yes, God positioned us at places where our heavenly tasks are waiting to be accomplished but that does not guarantee us a smooth-sailing life at work.

A soul to be reached out perhaps?

A situation where God’s glory would shine through?

Pretty noble!

How about a personal challenge to mold our own character, reveal us our true colors that could eventually lead to self-realization and change!

However, testings are real. Persecution. Temptation. Friction. Pressure. Everywhere.

Here are some Young Pro battling your battles daily.

The Boat is Sinking

by Dorie

The boat is sinking group yourselves into 5, into 4, into 3....

It could have been better if we could join others when our own boat of hope starts to sink. Sometimes we even abandon this hope when the sight of impossibility creeps in. How long are we going to hold on to something that we feel far from happening? Are we holding on long enough that giving up seems justifiable?

The father of all nations, Abraham, waited for 25 years before receiving what had been promised to him- a son. At the age of 75 God told Abraham that he will become a great nation. God then commanded him to leave his comfort zone-his country to set out in a land that was unknown to him. At the age of 90, God renewed His promise- that was after 15 years.  At the age of 100 after 10 years, Abraham finally had a son- Isaac. Abraham waited for a total of 25 years for God’s promise to be fulfilled.

Bullying

by: Jewel Divine “Apple” Ramos

The Youth

by: Divine Jewel “Apple” Ramos

When I was a child, I really wanted to grow up fast. It was because whenever I saw teenagers that time that had freedom to do things on their own, do whatever they wanted, go wherever they wanted to go and could hang out with friends without parents beside them, I really envied them. Then, I remember older people would usually tell me “in time, you will”. Now, it seems like it’s already happening.

Being Online Too Much

by Ilai

A research comes amid increasing evidence that young people  are becoming increasing narcissistic, and obsessed with self-image and shallow friendships. Oh, that hurts young people and young people at heart. Do you want a proof?  It's time to check your Facebook.

People who are socially disruptive narcissists have more friends on Facebook, tag themselves frequently, respond more aggressively to derogatory comments, change their profile pictures more often and update their newsfeeds more regularly.

Ang Pagbisita ni Pope Francis sa Pilipinas

by:Jewel Divine Ramos

Great Light Invasion - The GIA 5th Year Anniversary Report

by Dorie

Great Light Invasion- "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you". This is the Lord’s message for GOD is Adonai’s (GIA) 5th year New Season Anniversary. Held at Rizal Re-Creation Center, Laguna from November 1-2, 2014; the whole congregation gathered with much expectation of the Lord’s presence and a new, higher level of encounter.

There were seven (7) teams headed by young leaders and three (3) assistants, young leaders were chosen to lead the team to test the obedience of the grown-ups. They had to follow their leaders’ instructions such as singing and dancing for the cheering – even the old ones’ danced- shame had no place here, and the arthritis? No pain in the presence of the Lord. They were all on the go.   Good job parents, granny and grandpa!

The first night was awesome; the Lord has met and exceeded our expectation of encountering Him.  During the praise and worship everyone had felt the presence of the Lord and we just found ourselves kneeling and crying before Him. The Lord also poured out His anointing ten times more powerful. Some were delivered and confessed their sins before God; others had the privilege to experience heaven. The atmosphere was so amazing, full of love and joy. His very presence was the reason for being in that place and yes He was there. All we could say was “Thank you Lord, we’ll be carrying this new experience as we go home tomorrow.  We’ll shine as your light on earth”.

THE TRUTH ABOUT HALLOWEEN

by Dorie

Halloween’s History

Celtic New Year
October 31 is the most important day in the satanic year. [It is known as the devil's birthday.] It marks the Celtic new year. It was the end of the growing season. It became a festival of death. On this day, the god of the Celtics was to have called up the spirits of the wicked dead who had died during the past year. At the same time, other evil spirits arose and went about the countryside harassing the people. On October 31, the Celtics expected to be harassed by ghosts, evil spirits and demons; and it was no fun and games to them. They would light bonfires to guide the spirits to their own town and to ward off evil spirits.

Our Fight Against the Darkness

by Ilai

Rev. Neville Johnson, the author of The First Principles stated in his book that ‘we are living in times of great darkness and great light’.  As we take pleasure in all the wonderful things God is doing in most churches in our generation, we must not take for granted the increasing and alarming demonic activities around us. For 2 Corinthians 2:11 reminds us to be aware of such: Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. Unless we know what battle we are in, we won’t know how we ought to fight them. Brethren, we are not far from Christian persecution, from brutal killing and the spreading violence it might bring.

Persecution comes in various forms, and one of them is ISIS.

A Solemn Promise

by Karmela Rae

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Homosexuality

by epb

Disclaimer: I am not here to start a hate campaign against homosexuals, but to show the way as it was written in the bible.

Time has really changed!

When I was a child, you never know if there person you are talking to is homosexual. Gays are afraid to express their feelings.  I still remember, I had classmate back then who was beaten up by his dad when he admitted that he is gay.  What was worse is that he came from family of policemen.  However, in the years that had passed, the concept of homosexuality is slowly being accepted by the society. Today, they are openly accepted and encouraged in all walks of life.  They are everywhere -- from the lowly  street sweeper up to the people in the highest positions of business and government.  There already are countries which allow same sex marriages like the United States (The Netherlands which approved same sex marriage in year 2000).  Here in the Philippines, there are already discussions about the issue.

News Alert: Could an Asteroid or Comet hit Earth?

by: Shekinah Gutierrez

Photo from profeta-de-dios-efrain.com

What if an asteroid or comet hits the earth?
Are we ready for this?
Is this true or false?
The question is, are you going to believe the answer or not?

According to Prophet Efrain Rodriguez from Puerto Rico:
“God has told us a huge asteroid will collide with an island in Puerto Rico. It will then collide with a fault in the ocean and cause a seismic earthquake with intensity 12 on the Richter scale -- the largest wave to enter the cities in Puerto Rico.  The impact will feel like a nuclear explosion. This is God’s judgment in person as he executed his judgment on King David. The trinity will be walking on the island visiting judgment, much like when god visited Abraham. The judgment was brought on due to the church’s sins.  This judgment is God’s wrath on the people prostituting themselves and misuse and outrages in God’s church.  Death toll will reach 750,000 people in Puerto Rico alone. This will happen around 2:00 am (Puerto Rico time). Experts predict a colossal impact will cause the earth’s rotation to cease for three days. There will be three days of total darkness on this side of the earth.

I believe the signs of the times have already begun.  The seven year Tribulation Period is coming faster than we think.  This along with all the other signs Christ warned us about, including Israel, God’s prophetic super-sign, are strong signals for people to get ready for the Return of the Lord and bring in the harvest.

Below is a video of Prophet Efrain Rodriguez about an asteroid hitting Puerto Rico in the near future.

Ang Totoong Kahulugan ng Wide Awake ni Katy Perry

by Divine “Apple” Ramos

New World Order Ahead

by Divine "Apple" Ramos

Whether we are aware of it or not the "New World Order" is just few steps away.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations or ASEAN has a bothering plan for the next few years. One of those plans is to establish a one world currency to stabilize the global economy. It means that the world is going to have one currency instead of different currencies for buying goods and services. The leaders of ASEAN is pushing this proposal to start in South East Asia, in  Indonesia and in Thailand,  the Philippines already urged fellow members  to jointly plan a foreign-exchange stance to  increase their say on the world stage.

The Wake Up Call

by Angel

The Philippines is a country endowed with great riches, fertile lands, abundant marine life, and rich biodiversity. We are really living in a blessed land. Being the first Christian nation in the whole of Southeast Asia, the Philippines has been blessed by God from generation to generation. We have a great future ahead of us, as the Lord has plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future (Jer. 29:11). But the bible says that the devil is like a roaring lion, waiting for someone to devour ; that’s why we must be watchful; we must be wiser than the devil. He is trying to abort our destiny so let’s contend for it. We now have a wake up call from God through His end time prophets, Prophet Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj and Prophet Vincent Selvakumar of India. The choice is in the hands of the Filipinos, whether we are going to repent or continue our wickedness. The Lord warned us before that He will shake our nation and it happened. Last 2013, Bohol, Cebu, and some other parts of our country experienced a 7.2 magnitude earthquake. It was also prophesied that we will experience disasters that the world has not yet seen, like super typhoon Yolanda that killed many lives, destroyed shelters, ruined properties, and caused great grief. After those things, the Lord is not yet done. He will pour out His wrath towards us and will cause more disasters. But He is speaking to us: He will do that only if we are not going to repent. Woe to the Philippines if that will happen, if we are going to  continue hardening our hearts.

Note: Do not proceed any further if you have a weak stomach. (editor)

A Hundred one Percent

by Angel

100%, the highest grade a student can get. 100%, the highest rating an employee desires. 100%, something everyone wants.  When it comes to effort, love, commitment, and any other thing we do, a hundred percent is a must. It is a standard, a ceiling, and a limit all at the same time. A hundred percent gives us happiness and contentment. It is everyone’s dream. But do you ever wonder if there is something more than this? Or are you satisfied with that? Below is the list of letters, its corresponding number, and the equations we can get out of it. Realize that there is something more than what we are dreaming of.
