The
thought of dying probably scares most of us, but let me share the other side of
dying- dying empty. I’ve heard it first from my pastor, on one of his preaching
he was at the top of his lungs in a rally- like tone saying “You people of God
should die empty!”, and we were “What pastor you want us to die?”
To
die empty is to accomplish everything God has planned you to accomplish before
saying goodbye to Earth. It’s publishing
the book he already inscribed in your heart when you were still in your
mother’s womb. It’s singing and recording the song you've heard the angelic
host sang. It’s inventing that new
gadget that could enhance the life of the next generation without compromising
their values. It could also be uncovering a new way of governing people;
strategies in business world; and discovering that long-awaited medicine that
could save the life of many people. To die empty is to bring into completion
all the good things he started in you.
The
good Lord has equipped us with uncountable talents and gifts that are just
there inside; waiting to be unlocked. Don’t look at yourself as poor,
good-for-nothing, ordinary dude. You’re like a gift perfectly wrapped with His
glory and the inside is what can change the world upside down, inside out! The
call is for everyone; for the battle of ignorance and advancement is still on.
Rise up and take the challenge. Challenge yourself and you’ll be sure to have
His back. Do it for His glory and you will never fail. Start emptying yourself
now for the grave is not the place for those gifts. Those are too wonderful for
the tomb to contain. Die empty and He will fill you again.
Praise God...I remember the verse...If anyone would come after God..let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow him!!...We should DIE (die on the flesh) daily......!!!

True Tony! Luke 9:23 Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. Medyo mahirap kc you're like killing your personal desire but when we are totally empty of our self that's God's turn to reveal Himself to us! =)
