A Hundred one Percent

by Angel

100%, the highest grade a student can get. 100%, the highest rating an employee desires. 100%, something everyone wants.  When it comes to effort, love, commitment, and any other thing we do, a hundred percent is a must. It is a standard, a ceiling, and a limit all at the same time. A hundred percent gives us happiness and contentment. It is everyone’s dream. But do you ever wonder if there is something more than this? Or are you satisfied with that? Below is the list of letters, its corresponding number, and the equations we can get out of it. Realize that there is something more than what we are dreaming of.

Unveiling Messages

by Angel

Human brain is the birthplace of brilliant ideas. It is very complex and intricate. It sends and receives information and processes everything for less than a second. It carries us out of the ordinary world into the world of excitement. It brings us into the land of never fading beauty and mystery. It is the bridge we use to cross to reach the impossible things. And such bridge also leads us to reality. But don’t you know that our brain is more than that? It is divided into three ways according to how it functions, the conscious, unconscious, and subliminal level.

The conscious level is the one responsible for things that we are aware of. It tells us we are mentally awake or alert. The things we do when we are conscious are intentional. We are aware about our thoughts and actions, which is why we can react immediately. Using the same logic, once we say unconscious it refers to things that we do unintentionally; things we’re not aware of. This is why we cannot immediately make decisions. The person is asleep during the unconscious stage.

Prayer Movements

by Ilai

Few months ago, the strongest typhoon ever recorded devastated the Visayas region and took the lives of many of our kababayans. It’s not enough that we’ll just remember that fateful day but we ought to make some actions as well.

During a number of conferences and gathering of intercessors, where we did not only pray but also pleaded to have a nationwide prayer movement, at long last it was granted. Led by our very own President Aquino was the National Day of Prayer and Solidarity with the theme ‘One Nation in Prayer’ last Jan. 20 in MalacaƱang.

Though people have questioned, ‘why only now?’, in another sense, it is still on time being held on the first month of the year. Prayer is a powerful weapon against any kind of enemy’s attack because it’s a declaration of our reliance upon God, the acknowledgement that He is in control of this nation. It also shows our dependence on God’s intervention and not solely on what we can attain by any physical preparation.
